To ensure this, we encourage responsible gambling and offer a suite of tools to help you manage your play. Remember, gambling is only for individuals 18 years and older, and if you or someone you know is experiencing difficulties with gambling, support is available through Gambling Help Online at 1800 858 858.

Safer Gambling Tools

Gambling responsibly means staying in control of your activities and spending. To aid in this, we provide several features on our platform. These tools are designed to help you set limits, take breaks, and gamble within your means.

Deposit Limits

Setting a deposit limit on your account can help ensure you only spend what you are comfortable with. You can choose daily, weekly, or monthly caps, making it easier to manage your budget and prevent overspending. If you wish to adjust your limits for any reason, adjustments can typically be made within a set period within the account settings. This ensures you take periodic assessments of your spending habits and adjust them to keep you in control.

Loss Limits

In a similar vein to deposit limits, loss limits allow you to control how much money you are willing to lose over a specified period. This tool acts as an important buffer that can hold a player back from chasing losses, one of the common gateways into problem gambling. By setting a loss limit, the gaming experience remains enjoyable without the financial stress. Remember, it's vital to view gambling as entertainment, not a source of income.

Time Limits

To help you maintain a healthy balance of time spent gambling, you can set time limits on your sessions. It’s easy to lose track of time when immersed in the excitement of the games, so a time limit ensures you take regular breaks. Consistently stepping away helps provide perspective and prevents decision fatigue that often comes with extended gaming periods. By aligning your gaming schedule with breaks, you can improve your focus and enjoy each session more.

Reality Checks

Reality checks involve receiving notifications at pre-set intervals during your gaming sessions. These messages remind you of the time elapsed since you started playing. Such notifications allow you to assess your current session and decide if it aligns with your pre-set gaming goals. It also serves as an essential prompt to evaluate your gaming decisions and take stock of your state of mind, reinforcing the necessity to stay aware while playing.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is an effective tool for players who feel they need a significant break from gambling. By opting for self-exclusion, you can block access to your account for a specified period, from days to permanently. This is particularly helpful if you feel that you are losing control over your gambling habits. Self-exclusion provides time for reflection and motivation to seek support. During this time, we strongly encourage you to seek professional support and utilise available resources to address the root causes of your gambling behaviour.

Recognising Problem Gambling Signs

Understanding the signs of problem gambling is part of being a responsible gambler. If you notice any of the following indicators in yourself or others, it may be time to reassess your gambling habits:

• Spending more money and time on gambling than intended.
• Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling.
• Neglecting work, family, or personal responsibilities due to gambling.
• Lying about the extent of your gambling activities.
• Feeling anxious, guilty, or stressed when thinking about gambling.
• Chasing losses in an attempt to win back what was lost.

If any of these signs are familiar, consider using our self-exclusion options and reaching out to support networks. Gambling responsibly is about enjoying the experience while understanding when it’s time to take a step back. Reflect on how gambling fits into your life, and engage with it in a way that enhances your enjoyment without compromising other priorities and responsibilities.

Strictly 18+ Policy

Lucky Nugget is dedicated to preventing underage gambling. It is illegal for individuals under 18 years to gamble, and we take all necessary measures to ensure compliance with this regulation. If you have children or minors in your household, consider installing parental control software to restrict access to gambling sites and educate young family members about the potential risks associated with gambling.

We also ask our players to verify their age during the account registration process, so make sure you input the correct details when signing up. This policy is in place to protect young people from exposure to gambling activities, upholding a safe gaming environment. Through age verification and stringent checks, we ensure that our platform remains a safe place for legal gambling activities.
